Thyme Square Restaurant sits in a historic villa on Grey Street in Hamilton East and describes itself as Hamilton’s Humble Home of Intimate Dining, cultivating nostalgic dining experiences for special occasions. The open kitchen is led by award winning chef Logan Murray, serving contemporary classics with a taste of modern fusion. Thyme is known for its “Trust the Chefs” format, designed to be enjoyed by the whole table: choose how many courses you would like across two, three or five, add an optional beverage match, and let the team decide the rest. A full a la carte menu runs alongside it, from the Charsiu Pork Rib through to the Beef Wellington and Toblerone Tiramisu, with a full separate vegetarian and plant-based menu catering to all dietary needs. The dining room is intimately boutique, allowing dinner to move at its own pace.
